Purpose of Processing Personal Data
Finnish Leads collects personal data on its pages for its own marketing purposes and to develop its operations. Personal data can be used for direct marketing via email and telephone.

Processed Personal Data
The extent of the personal data processed depends on the situation. The most commonly collected data includes the person’s first and last name, email address, phone number, and company name. We store all personal information that we collect through the forms on our site.

Principles of Protecting Personal Data
Finnish Leads follows leading data protection practices in its operations. Personal data is collected through a secure SSL connection and stored in encrypted databases. Finnish Leads’ own computers have appropriate firewalls, our internet connection is encrypted, we only use strong passwords, and we never send personal data through unencrypted connections. We ensure that only authorized persons can process personal data. Individuals processing personal data are subject to a confidentiality obligation.

Transfer of Personal Data
Finnish Leads only transfers personal data to its service providers to the extent required to provide the agreed service. For example, cookie data collected for analytics purposes is transferred to Google Analytics, so Google has access to this data. In these situations, Finnish Leads acts as the data controller and Google as the data processor according to its role.

In some cases, we may also transfer personal data to organizations operating outside the European Economic Area, or so-called third countries. Such data transfer is only possible if one of the following conditions is met:

-The EU Commission has decided that the country’s level of data protection is adequate;

-The data transfer uses model clauses approved by the EU Commission;

-The recipient has committed to comply with the EU-US Privacy Shield arrangement.

Storage Time for Personal Data
We store personal data for as long as necessary. The length of storage times depends on the situation. Please note that you can always request the deletion of your data from our systems.

Exercising the Rights of the Data Subject
The data subject has the right to request access to his/her personal data from Finnish Leads, as well as the right to request the correction or deletion of such data, or to restrict or object to its processing. Due to technical reasons, materials stored in our systems cannot be requested to be transferred directly from the data controller to another service provider’s system. However, we will provide the material in electronic form to the data subject themselves.

We aim to resolve disputes related to the processing of personal data directly with the data subject. However, if you are dissatisfied with the processing of your personal data, you have the right to bring the matter to the attention of the data protection authority.
